The growth of economy is a permanent question for economics. At the beginning of the economy, all the economists want to probe the reason, inherent mechanism and the channel of the economic growth. The background of the research: After rapid developing more than thirty years, our achievements attract worldwide attention. But the deep contradictory appeared at same time, our GDP increases more than eight percent every year, but the high consumption of energy, low efficiency make the resource serious consumed and environment worsened. The economy of our country, including the transformation of the increase method, industry structure readjustment, gradual step-by-step ascending, are all at its critical state. This signifies the coming of a new opportunity for the economic development in China. By the arise of knowledge economy and high technology, Tech-innovation becomes the popular words. This dissertation is just an exploration and attempt into the generating mechanism and the essential function of the technological innovation.The research idea is based on the theoretical judgments that technological advancement is the foremost origin of the growth and innovation of economy, starting the point with the introduction of macroeconomic theories, and making empirical analysis on the relationship between the tech-innovation and economic growth of Xi'an by the comprehensive description on the theory of relevance between tech-innovation & economic growth and description on measuring method. The thesis measures the contribution of the Tech-innovation in Xi'an city. The thesis analyses Xi'an's economic growth from the point of view of institutional arrangement connecting the technological innovation, and then give the policy suggestions. The study can help us recognize correctly the quality and efficiency of our country's economic growth and help the government officials to make economic growth policies scientifically and conduct effective macroeconomic control. This is of great theoretical and practical values in keeping the national economy developing in a sustainable, rapid and healthy way.
