Risk Management Research Of 3G Mobile Network Construction

Along with China's rapid economic development, personal mobile communications industry is developing rapidly. Nowadays mobile phone users represent growing demand for high-speed wireless data services, the wireless data transmission rate provided by the 2G mobile communications network has restrained the development of personal mobile service. The 3G mobile communication technology owns the advantages of wireless data transmission bandwidth, so the construction of 3G mobile network is the trend of personal mobile communications industry. The 3G mobile communication system is gradually becoming the mainstream of mobile communications technology, China is stepping up efforts to the third-generation mobile communications system into pre-commercial testing.As mobile communications operators provide the subscriber with increasingly high quality service, business operation support systems in the mobile communications network is becoming more and more important. To operator, the Business Operation Support System(BOSS) is one of the most important application system, which is one of the operator's core competition ability. Whether it could run effectively or not will greatly decide operators' success or failure in the 3G mobile communication industry. Thus, 3G BOSS is the main task of the 3G mobile communication networks' construction. Whether a 3G operator can build a powerful BOSS in a short time depends on a number of relevant factors, in which the most important one is to carry out effective risk management during the project construction to avoid or reduce the project risk.Combining with practical work experience, the author studied the theory of risk management deeply. Through comparative analysis, the author found the solution to solve the practical problems. On the basis of the characteristics of BOSS projects, the author also summarized relative theory, and formed a system info applied to risk management of this kind of project. By practical examples, the author illustrated how to conduct the comprehensive risk management during the construction of 3G BOSS by the use of this system info.
