With the development of China's broad band networks, many broad band value-added businesses have been gradually put into the market. Streaming media business has been developed rapidly in the past years. This paper tries to use knowledge of management to analyze the current status of streaming media business and then to forecast the future trend of it. This paper goes about the market situation of streaming media business, and offers a detailed analysis of the interrelation between operation model and profit model, and different operation models engender different profit models. Then the paper chiefly analyzes profit models that are respectively based on the revenue of advertising and proliferation services, and from the aspects of industrial scale, communication approaches and technology etc. The author takes www.tudou.com, www.cintv.cn, IPTV and mobile streaming media as example, discussing the way to make more profit. |
