Research On Difference Of China's Regional Efficiency Of Patent Innovation

Innovation has become an important force to promote economic development, patents are the main form of innovation, and Successfully-used-patents in practice are the fundamental driving force to enhance productivity. Because different regions have different economic level and industrial structure, the efficiency of patent innovation is different between regions. To enhance the leading role of patent innovation in regional economic growth, this paper researches on efficiency difference of patent innovation of regions of China.To analysis the relevant factors of efficiency of patent innovation systematically, this paper designs comprehensive evaluation index system of efficiency of patent innovation, uses data envelopment analysis, basses on data of 2000-2005, analyses innovation efficiency of China's 30 provinces and municipalities, and analyses China's eastern, central and western regions on above bases. It uses multivariate statistical regression method to discuss influencing factors of forming different innovation efficiency of eastern, central and western regions, and proposes relevant countermeasures against important influencing factors.From researching on china' s regional efficiency of patent innovation, we conclude that: the efficiency of patent innovation of China's eastern region is highest, central and western regions are lower, and efficiency difference of patent innovation between eastern region and central, western region is going expand, the efficiency of central region is lower than eastern region, and also lower than western region, especially the efficiency difference tend of patent innovation is going large between central and western region; From regression analysis of influencing factors, we conclude that: the regression indexes of influencing factors of central and western region is approach, and have a certain distinction to eastern region.To improve the efficiency of patent innovation of east, central and western regions, and this paper proposes measures as following, eastern region should improve marginal efficiency of using patent innovation resources, deepen the patent innovation incentive mechanism, and promote the industrialization of patents; central and western regions should train "production, study and research" cooperation mechanism, increase investment in patent innovation resources, get innovation policies of country, and improve the innovation legal system.
