Research On The Spatial Structure Evolvement And The Dynamic Mechanism Of The Petrochemical Industry In China Under Globalization

The petrochemical industry (P.I.) is a sort of basic heavy-chemical industry, with long industrial chains, tightly cooperation degree and high added-value. Thus the developed country all ran through the stage on which P.I.growed rapidly. The global petrochemical structure is running into the process of petrochemical industrial structure marked by innovations. merging in great amount and building a new global strategic system. Currently China is on the heavy-chemical industry stage with hezvy gasoline's increase and P.I. is increasingly important to economic system.With economic globalization,the import of crude oil and petrochemical to China increases continuously. The transnational corporations are investing in China roundly. In recent years P.I. has grown enormously in China and China has become an important region of P.I. in the world. On these grounds the importance of studying P.I. in China stands and can help the government to channel off the petrochemical industry. This research on the spatial structure of P.I. in perspective from regional economics is helpful to the recognization of the developing process in China,and has great significance for the regional industry structure promotion and the adjustment of industrial distribution.Based on fitting yearbook, the thesis analyses the different stages of the spatial structure of P.I. in China and its characteristics corresponding to every stage and discusses the current features of spatial structure of P.I. in China.Based the analysis,the thesis discusses the dynamic mechanism of spatial structure evolvement are put forward and the possible evolving trend in future is forecast,too.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:①The spatial structrue of P.I.is more dispersive on Macro-level than Meso-level.②The ratio of oil's and ethene's throughput which is lower 100km to ports has been increaseing. While the ratio which is more 100km to ports has been decreaseing.③There are three modes of P.I.'s spatial structrue approach the oil field,approach the market and approach ports.④The dynamic mechanism of the spatial structure evolvement not only come from national policy, but also from the Economic globalization.
