XX Landscape Design Company is a medium and small-sized firm. Being Faced with the problem of the next further strategic choice for the company after its entry to the development stage, the writer makes a research on the inside and outside environment of the XX Landscape Design Company. Based on the industry current situation, and the current resources as well as the problems of this company, the writer works out the Forward Integration Strategy for it in accordance with theories of industry choice and strategic management. With the analysis on the feasibility of this strategic choice, the writer also expounds the strategy implementation of the Forward Integration Strategy function tier as well as the risk control.In this thesis, with the summarization of the research background, the related theories and tools for researches is introduced at the beginning. Then started from the outside environment, the interior ability and the resources and problems of the XX Landscape Design Company, the forward integration strategy for it is worked out. Subsequently, the feasibility of the forward integration strategy in the firm and the problem of the strategic formulation and implementation of the function tier matching with the forward integration strategy are discussed. And finally, the key problems in the implementation and the risk control of the strategy for XX Landscape Design Company are stated.Based on the analysis of inside and outside environment of XX Landscape Design Company, what is concluded is that as XX Landscape Design Company is proceeding the enterprise development phase, it has entered a development bottleneck in the present industry, and the forward integration strategy as an increasing strategy is a comparatively suitable choice for its development of the next step.In our country, there are many medium and small-sized companies with the same features of small scale, simple type of product and service, projects repetition, and fierce inside competition as well as little profit space. Thus the problems faced by XX Landscape Design Company are also what those similar companies are facing. The logic and process of the forward integration strategy for XX Landscape Design Company can be used for their reference. The writer wishes that by the research in this thesis, an integration strategy solution of which experience can be used by other companies can be found out, for solving the bottleneck commonly faced by general medium and small-scaled enterprises during their quick development.
