Research On Influence And Policy Recommendations Of Expressway To The Industrial Clusters

As modernized way of communication and transportation, the expressway, with its strong traffic capacity, fast and flexible operation-way, comfortable and complete facilities, has improved transport conditions of the region along the expressway. Because the infrastructure of traffic is improved, the expressway attracts large quantities of industries transferring and gathering on both sides and its extreme points. and then forms economy belts and city-intensive areas which contains certain structures such as industrial clusters. With factors of production gathering and spreading further, the industrial clusters have formed finally with characteristic locality in these economy belts and city-intensive areas. Industrial clusters obtain with their competitive advantage witch other economic organization is not able to posess to promote the development of regional economy sustainably and steadily. thus drives the whole regional economy to enter developing stage of benign cycle. So, it has important reality meaning by analyzing the influence mechanism of the expressway and relevant policy recommendations to construction of expressway and development of industrial clusters in our country.Basis on relevant research of domestic and international survey, this thesis gets deeper understanding and has further improved the basic theories of industrial clusters and economic research of expressway, points out that expressway has significant influence on the emergence and development of industrial clusters along the expressway. After analyzed the influence mechanism of expressway to the industrial clusters systematically. It points out that expressway influence the industrial clusters mainly by gathering mechanism and spreading mechanism. from the enterprises'perspective, gathering mechanism can be devided into industry gathering mechanism and scale enlarging gathering mechanism. As the cause of gathering different, industry gathering mechanism can be devided into directional gathering mechanism and economic connection gathering mechanism. When economy gathers to a certen scale and level, spreading mechanism begains to work. During the whole developing process, gathering mechanism and spreading mechanism are unity of opposites, balance each other, work together to promote the industrial clusters to grow in strength. The whole influence process includes sprouting stage, growing up stage and maturing stage according to different time, and with"point-axis-zone"space model to influence industrial clusters'emergence and development. This thesis has set up boundary definition model of influence . Takeing Dongjing Town along the Changtan road of Jingzhu Expressway for example, it definites the boundary of influence zone of expressway quantitatively by using this model and analyzes the concrete instances of the expressway to the development of industrial clusters. Finally it puts forward related policy recommendations which can answer for the influence mechanism.
