The sustainable using of the land in small town is an important problemduring the urbanization, and it is also one of the primary work in thegeneral plan of small town.According to analyzing the currentconstruction situation of the small town, the author point out that theunscientific and unreasonable phenomenon of land using in small townplanning and construction has blocked the development process of the smalltowns. In order to solute the problem, the paper starts with clarifyingthe concepts of the towns to limit the research range of construction landscale of small towns,and proposes that construction land scale should bedetermined according to the synthesizing of the factors of area bearingability and environment capacity and industry structure. Further more,the author studies and draws lessons from some mathematic models, suchas the array law of time, return to the analytic approach and etc. Throughanalyzing their characteristic and the scope of application, the paperreplenishes the deficiency of the frequently used construction landforecast method and put up the forecast method put up the industrialstructure forecast method applied to the forecast of the productive landscale.Meanwhile, the author founded the value system of construction landincluding index comprehensive method and reasonable-satisfactionanalyzed method to rectify the random element. To realize the sustainableuse of land in small town,it is necessary to found the adjust system ofthe sustainable use of land and combine the macroscopical control withthe market.The paper is still combines investigation with practiced project.Inthe Sanjiaxiang Town general planning,the author analyses and predictsits use of land from politics and economic and mathematic model.It doesnot only offer the scientific basis for the Sanjiaxiang Town generalplanning and economical development, but also further reasonably andscientifically probes into the method of forecast the use scale of theconstruction land and the establishment of management& control mechanismof the intensive land use.During the communication and cooperation withthe local government,the article enhanced the sustainable use of land insmall towns in practice, science and enforceability.
