A Theoretical And Demonstrational Study On The Traditional Industry Readjustment With The High And New Technology

As the development of high and new technology changing the productivity and life style of human beings profoundly, the original economic and social structures are at the same time witnessing a tremendous change. The only way out to increase and stabilize the speed of our economical development is to rely on the progress of science and technology, to promote economic restructuring and to rebuild the traditional industry with high and new technology, and so as to achieve the improvement of economic quality. The key point to the development of traditional industry is to promote the technological innovation. Our country is turning into a pivotal period of time to readjust and informationize the industrial structure. We should tightly hold the opportunity of applying high and new technology, combining the reform with development, combining the microeconomic with the macroeconomic, combining the tactic reorganization of state-owned industry with the adjustment of industrial structure, and make the best of this historical time to achieve the reconstruction of traditional industry with the high and new technology, and to increase the competitiveness of our economy.This paper totally divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction to the relationship among the increase of our country's economy, the high and new technology and traditional industry. The second chapter provides a definition to the concepts of high and new technology and traditional industry, and following an analysis of the advantages of high and new technology and high-tech industry. And then several problems are mentioned such as the inadequate of informationizatioin in the course of traditional industry development, and the lower degree of modernization in production technology. The third chapter is a conclusion and a further explanation of the former chapters, makes a comparison of disadvantages of traditional industry with the advantages of high and new technology, and puts forward in the sense of the necessity and realistic value of the restructuring traditional industry with the high and new technology. Focusing on the process of this readjustment, the paper also provides both the suggestions for the emphases, approaches, operating mechanisms and patterns of the restructuring, and the analysis of some important stages and problems in the process. The fourth chapter carries out a demonstrational study of the problems occurred in the process of restructuring traditional industry with the high and new technology in Liaoning Province and makes some relevant suggestions, so as to achieve an integration of theory and practice in some degree.The innovational point of this paper is to point out the problems in the process of restructuring traditional industry with the high and new technology in our country, and have analyzed the practical mechanism and the pattern of the restructuring, which tries to provide a theoretical support to the practice of restructuring traditional industry with the high and new technology in China.
