Compensation's role in the enterprise management appears to be more and more important due to the state adjustment to the distribution system and the rapid growth of the labor market. Research on the compensation management theory in management field becomes prosperous, and adaptive compensation policy and its due performance will influence the vigor of the enterprise and its core competence.This thesis fully analyzes the compensation management system of 1st Machinery Works. At the beginning it gives general information of 1st Machinery Works. Through analyzing the available governing laws, policies and documents on, connecting with or relative to the compensation management of 1st Machinery Works, it points out the necessity and applicability of the innovation to the existing compensation management system. Then it describes the compensation management theory, in which part it gives thorough information of compensation concept, constitute, function and objective, and management key points, theory, present situation in China and abroad and its development trends. After that, it analyzes the main problems of 1st Machinery Works in compensation management. Then it brings out the main clue for the problem solving and concrete optimizing method. At last it points out the sensitive points shall be paid attention for innovation. The author expects that through theoretical research it will be helpful to the practice of drafting and improving relative management system and implementation and application of relative policy.
