Enterprises' self-assessment has become an important management tool to enhance core competence in the new competitive circumstance. There are three self-assessment tools in the world: Performance Excellence Model (PEM), Standard of ISO9004 and Standard of ISO10014. Many enterprises may have implemented one or two self-assessment standard, so should these Enterprises overthrow the self-assessment standard that they have implemented to establish the other self-assessment systems? Could the three standards integrate to achieve much more effect? According to enterprises' self-assessment level, classify and analyze the enterprises by which have implemented one, two or have not implemented any self-assessment, based on the logic relationships of standards content, offer the self-assessment guidelines for enterprises, especially offer an detail self-assessment system for enterprises that have not implemented any self-assessment. The purpose is to avoid resource waste, and obtain the best income.At last, the article puts forward advices for enterprises implementing self-assessment, including: the characteristics of self-assessment method that based on ISO9004 and ISO10014; presenting general process of implementing self-assessment and scoring standard of the system; addressing several points which should be paid special attention to in the course of self-assessment.
