Space Different Measurement Research On Regional Sustainable Development

Sustainable development is one of the most important front fields including present economy,environment,society subjects,etc.Realizing the sustainable development of China and even the whole human society must be based on the regional sustainable development.Regional sustainable development has been corn content of the present stage study on sustainable development.Space differences in regional sustainable development are caused by the influence of the multiple factors such as natural environment,sources condition, geography location,historical factors and political and economic factors,etc. The quantitative methods are used to open out the space differences in regional sustainable development and a scientific basis is provided for carrying out the strategy of regional sustainable development.Based on summarizing the existing evaluation theory and model of regional sustainable development,according to the characteristics of evaluation index system for regional sustainable development,combining with the specific characteristic of the region,index system of assessment for regional sustainable development is established.Because the independence among that selected indexes may exist certain problems and there may be a strongly relationship among some indexes,the factor analysis method in the multi-factor stat is used in this paper to decrease effectively the dimension among the index information and comprehensive indexes that include most original information are used to analysis and evaluate regional sustainable development ability,meanwhile because of the complexity and fuzziness in the regional sustainable development system, fuzzy cluster analysis is taken to give a classification of regional sustainable development ability and quantitative description of fuzzy problem.In this paper as an example of Yantai city,according to "2005 Yantai Statistical Yearbook",related data is obtained by calculated through evaluation index of the regional sustainable development of Yantai urban counties in 2004,factor analysis and fuzzy clustering analysis are separately used to provided the evaluation and the classification of the urban district sustainable development ability of Yantai's various counties,the results are objective,fair and consistent with the actual situation.Finally,in this article countermeasure and the suggestion that promote Yantai's region sustainable development are proposed according to the common factors that affect the sustainable development of Yantai' various counties city(area)and the measure results.The creative features of this article are:(1)The assessment index system on the ability of sustainable development of Yantai city is put forward for the first time in the article.(2)It is the first time to make a quantitative assessment analysis on the ability of sustainable development of Yantai city.
