Jinan Steel was founded in 1958 and it is an old state-owned enterprise which owned 300,000mts crude steel capacity before reforming and opening-up. It seized the good chance of China's opening, and realized its great-leap-forward development with 10million tons of crude steel, and became one of Chinese top steel-mills of more than 10 million tons capacity. Although steel business of Jinan Steel Group had reached a certain scale and strength, It still needs to overcome some challenge that comes from the new Steel industries'development trend from domestic and overseas, to solve the bottle-neck of the more demand on iron ore, coal and other raw materials, cost on productions, and to utilize the opportunities of intergradations of Shandong Steel group.
