| With the coming of knowledge economy era, only depending on the task perfor-mance of knowledge worker can not satisfy the long-term development of organization.The contextual performance behavior of knowledge worker includes volunteering andcooperating behaviors, supports the broader organizational social and psychologicalenvironment in which the task performance must highly work. From the contextualperformance conception promoted to now, in the west, there are a great many of rela-tive products, however, it is beginning in China where there is little empirical researchand almost no questionnaire. Based on the previous products, this thesis tries todevelop the first scientific and normative meter about knowledge worker contextualperformance under the cultural-background in China, discusses the content and struc-ture, and forms the 4 dimensionality model. It must be of great benefit to improve thecontextual performance evaluation of knowledge worker, to improve the initiative andcreative of knowledge worker, and gives them a space to show their ownership througha new path, which will contribute to practice of enterprise management.Firstly, this thesis reviews the history of contextual performance research, includ-ing its relative behavior mode, foreign dimensionality model, domestic dimensionalitymodel, impact factor and questionnaire, which is helpful for the following work.Secondly, taking the characters of knowledge worker into account, excluding thebad behavior for development of organization, this thesis redefines contextual perfor-mance of knowledge worker. Based on that, by Management, Organizational Behavior,Human Resource Management and Psychology, it analyzes the characters and motiva-tion of knowledge worker contextual performance, and explains it from relative theory.Finally, referencing to explanation about contextual performance behavior by VanScotter & Motowidlo (1996) and Farh (2004), and the result of opening survey, thisthesis develops the first meter about knowledge worker contextual performance. Afterthe first survey, it comes to be the formal meter including 22 items. By Factor Analy-sis, Reliability Analysis and Validity Analysis and so on, it deeply analyzes the formalsurvey result, which proves that every index of the meter is very well. Based on that,it obtains the final meter about knowledge worker contextual performance, and formsthe 4 dimensionality model, including Self-development, Conscientiousness, Initiative,Civic Awareness, and the Total Variance Contribution is 66.142%. |
