The Systemic And Dimensional Analysis And Optimized Countermeasures Of The Sustainable Development In Shijiazhuang City

The city is a result of social productivity's development, and a sign of the human civilization. Sustainable development theory has become focus and front subject of every discipline since born, With the quickening of urbanization paces, urban sustainable development becomes an important research direction. Entering 21st century, the speed of urbanization of our country is obviously accelerated, city development faces unprecedented challenge. So the comprehensive appraisal on the sustainable development ability in Shijiazhuang has important realistic meanings.This thesis is on the basis of the overall assessment of the domestic and abroad cities'sustainable development. According to the actual situation in Shijiazhuang, the overall assessed target system of sustainable development is established in this city. The four-dimensional overall assessed pattern is used to assess the sustainable development of Shijiazhuang from the year of 1992 to 2006. Form the above all, a series of suggestions are presented to the strategy of sustainable development in Shijiazhuang.At first, this thesis comments the overall assessed situation of the sustainable development in the cities home and abroad. Then, according to theoretical and practical significance of the target system of sustainable development, and to scientific, dynamic and typical principles, the combined qualitative and quantitative methods are employed; besides, the target system of sustainable development that fits for the characteristics of Shajiazhuang is designed. This target system covers three levels: the first is the three targets of economic, social and environmental sustainable development; the second contains 13 targets; the third contains 37. On the basis of the original data from the year 1992 to 2006 of Shijiazhuang, the targets of the system are all dealt. The entropy method is adopted to calculate the weight of each target. Then the weighted method is employed to get the economic, social and environmental sustainable-level indexes of Shijiazhuang throughout the years. In order to assess the economic, social and environmental sustainable development situation better, this thesis presents the level index LI, the sustainable index SI, the coordination index CI, the dimensional equilibrium index EI, which has established the four-dimensional overall assessed pattern.The research of the sustainable development in Shijiazhuang from 1992 to 2006 shows the tendency of this city's development in these years. The main conclusions are as follows. From the general trend, with the development of economy, the ecological environment has been seriously destroyed; yet the economic growth has brought along the development of society. From the horizontal index, the sustainable development of Shijiazhuang is being transformed towards a high-level. From the sustained index, generally Shijiazhuang has developed sustainable during these years, except a few special years. From the concerted index, the general trend of the coordinated extent in the economic, social and environmental systems is better, except a little fluctuation. From the equilibrium index, Shijiazhuang has just reached the level of balanced development city.Finally, on a base of four-dimensional overall assessment, this thesis brings forward several suggestions and optimized strategies to the sustainable development of Shijiazhuang from the economic, social and environmental points of view respectively.
