In China the total men who surf on the internet achieved 162 millions up to Jun. 2007, which was just inferior to the amount of 211 millions of America as the second largest in the world. Also the garment business via net also becomes more and more popular for the people. The research shows that most of men want to try buying on the internet even if many people is worried about the e-shopping. So the potential market of garment e-retail is large. We also can find that there are many problems which need to be resolved in the industry from the small quantity of bargain and the anxiety of customer. As long as the needs of customer are satisfied more the market of garment e-retail should develop healthily and speedily.One of the contents is to understand the customers'character behavior and their needs on internet from the diagnoses of the customers. Then supply the scheme of expanding the e-retail of garment in the condition of customers'needs basing on the status quo and create the guideline of commence the e-retail under the condition of customers'needs and the ideal strategy or model.The survey of customers'character includes their age, sex, income, body character, dress style etc. This information manifests the target customer of e-retail market. And it is very important to fix customer. In addition the correlations of different factors are also be investigated such as the relation of income and the rate of buying clothes on internet. Through the research of the customers'behavior and needs we got the differences character between different style customers.The value of customer, the trait of network and the attribute of garment are be considered when the factors of garment e-retail were confirmed. The research was done on the customers'needs and differ customer to different styles by the factor and cluster analysis. Then the guideline and ideal model were got according to these researches.
