Costume design is the complex of art and design technology, while the designers’ fresh creativity and practical ability for the clothing brand has extraordinary importance. With the development of network technology, network marketing quickly penetrates into the garment industry, therefore, the consumer and the clothing company has been set up a new bridge, the Internet. Right now, fashion designers originally living "behind the scenes" gradually moved toward the "front" under the impact of network technology. Establishing an efficient network of sales channels of Chinese clothing brand and enhancing consumers’ local clothing brand and designer awareness, have become an important research topic in China’s fashion design academia and Chinese garment enterprises should face.Currently, the vast majority of garment enterprises have realized the importance of network marketing. In addition to a lot of our local garment enterprises, there are many foreign brands coming in with the process of the development of world trade. Thus, today our market has many apparel brands, and the competition is particularly fierce. To face the unoptimistic market, and in order to attract more consumers, many enterprises with predictability to expand sales channels to the network, and have achieved very good results. The changes of designers’ concept, has a pivotal role for the clothing brand.Early21st century, China’s apparel market began to introduce luxury brands with high value-added. Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Gucci and other famous international luxury brands have landed in China market, and recognized by consumers gradually. Meanwhile, the designer behind them also was familiar to consumers with those brands. Because Louis Vuitton, consumers know Marc Jacobs; they recognize John Galliano since Christian Dior. Clothing brands and designers play a role with "mutual influence, mutual promotion", it not only expanded the awareness of clothing brands among consumers, but also improve the popularity of costume designers in minds of consumers. However, China’s garment enterprises ignore the promotion of designers’works, leading to the designer failed to better reflect the value added to the brand’s products. Therefore, we only know that the local garment enterprises and apparel brand name, but can not casually say these designers’ name behind the brand. Thus, we can clearly recognize that there is a big gap between popularity of China’s fashion designers and those famous designers abroad in the minds of consumers. For the above, we can conclude:designers are the soul behind clothing brands and their actions will determine the product’s style and brand’s personality. As a fashion designer, the only way to do is keep updated, to keep abreast of the dynamic brand information on the growing online retail websites, to understand the fashion elements at the moment and consumer awareness of the latest fashion apparel and purchase psychology, combined with their own creative talent, then they will be able to design apparel products appreciated by consumers and to create a new "popular" styles which can obtain the corresponding market share in the online sales market, and also can meet the consumer expectations. If the appreciation of China’s local designers is not improved, the added value of domestic clothing brands is difficult to be reflected in the designer’s work. Brands would be difficult to be the world-class clothing brands.Main innovation lies in this article:First, the importance of the designer for the clothing brand on the Internet sales. As a designer, you must comply with the current popular fashion elements and change and innovation of clothing styles so that the domestic apparel brands and fashion designers can create effective interact with consumers, making the clothing brand popular, as well as trend leaders to improve the network retail.Second, as the current rapid development of network information technology, traditional clothing sales have turned into online sales, however, there are still many constraints existing in the network marketing, such as the lack of design ideas’timeliness, network sales promotion can not be gain scheduled profit, the depth of consumers’ access to and the conversion rate purchase is not high. As a fashion designer, they must actively cooperate with the staff of the various departments in garment enterprises, and understand where the constraints are and then effectively resolved them. Thus, the clothing brand can break through the bottleneck, and the sales performance will be significantly improved.
