IPTV is a brand-new industry in the primary phase of its development, the benign development of the industry will be limited with numerous aspects, thus an effective business motion would be the basic issue of the IPTV industry development.In This thesis, the definition, feature, system construction and relative technical standard of IPTV would be introduced, analyzing the IPTV present development condition and trend of flourishing nation and region in Europe, North America, Pacific Asia, etc.The relationship and function of Game theory between the network operation provider, contents provider, the technique equipments provider, the terminal technique provider and the subscriber is analyzed with theory of value chain. China now has the environment of policy, economy and technique to develop IPTV industry.Shanghai mode, Haerbin mode, Hangzhou mode, Jiangsu mode, Henan mode, this five typical commercial mode appeared in China now is far from the mature IPTV mode on its feature, diversity and adapt ion. But the constructional and creative IPTV trial through China has oriented the mature and successful the IPTV commercial mode in the future.In the end, the thesis provides the analyses on the ways and main elements of Chinese IPTV and makes policies and suggestions on it.
