The word "lifestyle" is first created by Psychologist Alfred. Adler in 1927. It is a personal knowledge in a certain social and cultural space shown under the external morphology. In short, lifestyle refers to the way people live and social interaction of various factors demonstrated by the activities, interests and attitudes mode. This paper chose lifestyle as the basis of market segmentation in order to effectively enhance the ability of market policy makers to face of the complex environment, market easier, as well as a new perspective on the importance of marketing. Compared with the traditional market segmentation, lifestyle variables integrated consumer psychology and behavior variables, market segmentation features more clearly and more deeply. It provides a more realistic, more detailed information for consumers, explains the underlying causes of consumer behavior, and a more comprehensive description of the characteristics of the needs of consumers, to predict its future behavior to provide more efficient data. In this paper, on the basis of lifestyle, by investigating urban residents in Changsha with 33 sentences of lifestyle tests through factor analysis, principal component extraction, we got 11 Factor in the cluster on the basis of discrimination and the return to the test and get five different types of life of urban residents. On the basis of the different forms of lifestyle group correspondence analysis and comparative analysis, study its recreational preferences, recreation and open space spending motives. Through the above data analysis, it comes to a conclusion that different lifestyle group has its own typical recreational preferences.
