Since August, 2006, China mobile debuted two-dimensional bar code——the bar code distinguishing business, and began to extend the business in every province, the bar code distinguishing business catches more and more attention as a new mobile phone technique. At present, the bar code distinguishing business of China mobile already has applied to masses service, merchandise information, the displacement knowledge reads, and industry application etc. Although, the bar code distinguishing business developed promptly, the terminal supports ability is different, universal way of terminal is unreasonable, the two-dimensional code standard is lack of unity, all these things lead to the limitation of consumer cognition, the vague cooperation pattern of mobile telephone industry chains and block the development of the bar code distinguishing business on a certain degree. Therefore, the development tactics of the bar code distinguishing business is very important to the China mobile.The article began with the standard of the two-dimensional bar code, then analyzed the character of China mobile's bar code distinguishing business, the current development situation and problem of this business. Finally, suggest the business development tactics which include the industry chain cooperation, wielding medium alliance, marketing tactics such as differentiated marketing,promoting the combination of increased sales, enclosed management pattern, by comparing and using Japan, Korea and USA two-dimensional bar code business pattern and tactics for reference.
