Purchasing Management Research Of Engineering Project In Construction Supply Chain Environment

With the application of supply chain management in manufacturing and retailing, as well as the improvement of theoretical system,many scholars and experts in construction are trying to apply the supply chain management to the construction area. During recent several decades,the project management is concentrating on how to apply the supply chain and guide the project procurement and supply,and how to optimize the supply chain construction projects so as to improve the entire supply chain performance.Purchasing management in construction engineering involves many aspects. But this paper is mainly concerned with purchasing and supplier management from the supply chain perspective.It first introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge about the construction supply chain management and purchasing management of engineering project.And it draws a comparison between the traditional project purchasing management modes and the existing ones.Then from major facets to the project purchasing management,such as material management,tender procurement and supplier management,a comprehensive analysis of the purchasing management process is done.It designs operational processes for construction supply chain management based on the actual engineering project.Also it puts forward an approximate just-in-time strategy to the project by centralized purchasing.For the choice problems of the construction enterprise suppliers,it establishes a suitable index evaluation system for the construction industry,and proposes an improved construction supplier fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on the maximum membership degree.Finally,it uses vendor-managed inventory(VMI) method to optimize ordering polices for the construction project.And it obtains numerical solutions to optimize the both sides' interests,whose efficiency is validated by numerical examples.
