Inbound tourism has been an important part of urban tourism in Shanghai, which scale and level not only reflect the degree of openness and international , but also mark the level of development and maturity of tourism in Shanghai .The World Expo which will be held in a city can promote the urban function and enhance its international reputation..There is no doubt that the successful bid to host the 2010 World Expo has brought significant development opportunities for the inbound tourism in Shanghai . Based on The session of 2010 World Exposition, This article study on the market of inbound tourism in Shanghai.The research mainly consists of the following questions:Fristly reviews the development of inbound tourism in Shanghai and descripts the current situation from the perspective of time and space in order to find the law in the inbound tourism development. Secondly, based on the the view of the session of 2010 World Expo and studied from the perspective of time and space, mainly analyzes the characteristics which reveals of inbound tourism in terms of the sessiom.the results will give the support to the inbound tourism marketing. Finally, bring up the strategy that how to expand the World Expo overseas tourist market and some implementation and suggestions have been put forword.This paper is divided into five parts: Chapter I: Introduction. This chapter procides the necessary theory and discovery method fundament for the entire article.Chapter II: Analysis of the current situatiom and characteristics of inbound tourism in Shanghai .This chapter reviews the the history of development of inbound tourism .the overall status and characteristics of inbound tourism in Shanghai has been revealed. Chapter III, Analysis of the markets of inbound tourism from the view that the session of Shanghai 2010 World Expo should be paid more attention in the research of inbound tourism. This chapter looks back the effect that the previous World Expo brought into the inbound tourism, which will enlighten the 2010 Expo,then researchs the inbound tousim in terms of the session of World Expo and probes to the factors that maybe bring into the effect to the fluctuations of inbound tourism.Chapter IV, forecast the inbound tourists during the The 2010 World Expo.this chapter forecasts the structure of inbound tourism markets in the session of 2010 World Expo in order to provide the guidance of tourism marketing. Chapter V, strategy to expand the market of the inbound tourism during 2010 World Expo .this chapter will put forword to the implementation and suggestions.
