Preliminary Research On Circular Economy Planning Of Small Towns In Southern Jiangsu

The development of small town in the southern Jiangsu promoted the flourish of rural economy and accelerated the proceeding of urbanization as the bridge of contacting between urban and rural areas. But extensive economy increasing mode during the development of small town brought some issues such as resource, energy, environment etc., which restricted further development of small towns. As a scientific idea and advanced economic mode, developing circular economy is a necessary selection to realize sustainable development of small town in southern Jiangsu. Circular economy planning is an indispensable and integral part of circular economy, which will provide the basis for circular economy and guide the activities carried out to achieve harmony and progress in society.The existing problems and status quo of small towns in southern Jiangsu were summarized and the theories about circular economy and planning were analyzed in this paper. Aiming at the problems which existed in small towns in southern Jiangsu, the possible way of developing circular economy and the planning content involved in the circular economy planning were discussed from the perspective of study on small towns. Planning points were analyzed in circular economy planning, especially taking Nanfeng town of Zhangjiagang city as an example. From the practice of Nanfeng town, a suitable developing direction of circular economy was found for the small towns in southern Jiangsu. These problems and related issues such as planning methods that should be paid attention to in planning were preliminarily discussed. It attempts to provide some methods and practice exploration for developing circular economy planning in small towns in southern Jiangsu.
