Research On The Innovation Strategy Of Chinese Software Industry

In the 1980s, the software industry developed rapidly and gradually affected the society in many fields. During the 1990s, a wave of informationization started around the world, which gave Chinese software industry a precious opportunity to develop. Driven by the High-speed developing electronic manufacturing industry, Chinese software industry has extended its developing space and became crucial for progress in society & economy. However, there is a series of issues to be solved, such as small scale of enterprises, a lack of competitiveness, weak R&D capability and so on. Therefore, it's necessary to study the strategy of the software industry development for a good prospect. By analyzing the characters of software product and the industry, the paper points out that enterprises are in need of innovation, considering the successful experience in India. According to their actual condition, enterprises can choose independent innovation or cooperative innovation strategy, which will help them gain a breakthrough in technic, management, market sharing, organization, and finally get the core competitiveness improved.
