Research On Independent Innovation Mode Of Corporate Groups

Under the background of economic globalization, enhancing enterprises'capacity of innovation is an important measure to enhance national competitiveness. For enterprises, innovation is not only the momentum of enhancing their competitiveness, but also their inexhaustible source of survival and development. How can enterprises achieve their innovation? How can they generate profit by using the available resources? How can they choose the suitable innovation mode, innovation mechanism, and innovation strategy as well as innovation organization policy to ensure their fast, steady and persistent development? All these are the questions that most domestic enterprises are caring and also what this thesis is discussing and trying to probe for a solution.Beginning with the definition of the concept of Independent Innovation, this thesis analyzes the main characteristics of this concept, and generally discusses three modes of independent innovation: Original Innovation, Integrated Innovation and Re-innovation by Bring-in and Digestion. By explaining and comparing the three modes, this thesis analyzes the influencing factors for the modes selection. By analyzing independent innovation mechanisms and organization backup, this thesis offers the theoretical support to the selection and smooth execution of independent innovation modes, and furthermore, takes Haier Group as an example to study and verify. The thesis gains the research results and conclusions as the following:Haier Group has always adhered to the development strategy of independent innovation, and at different stages of development, it chooses different independent innovation modes according to its own and external environment. The thesis does a empirical research on Haier Group's selection of independent innovation modes, planning of independent innovation strategy, and set- up of independent innovation system and summarizes the evolution of Haier's independent innovation mode and brings forward the new development of Haier's independent innovation—the leap from system innovation to original innovation mode.Haier Group's Independent Innovation mode is a profound innovation, and the kernel mode is technique Innovation. But it transcends the simple technique innovation, it is systemic and comprehensive innovation. Different enterprise should colligate its own and external environment to choose different independent innovation modes, set up suitable long-term innovation strategy and system for the enterprise development, and hence, strengthens the enterprise's kernel competitive forces. While enhancing enterprise's innovation system and achieving a higher level of Original Innovation mode should be the strategy aim of enterprises'innovation. This empirical research will be helpful to lots of domestic enterprises to formulate their own strategies of independent innovation.
