The Study Of Independent Innovation And Imitation Innovation's Effect On Chinese Manufacturing Exports

After entering twenty-first Century,China's industrial scale and the overall technological level has increased substantially,"Chinese industrial innovation's mode selection and sustainability" has become a Increasingly important issue from theory and empirical interpretation.The early history of the United States,Germany,France and other industrialized countries have no exception along the ladder up the stairs through the imitation innovation pattern of industrial technical progress,but in the late stage of industrialization,all of them are firmly perserve in the road of independent innovation,which has laid a solid foundation for the rise of modern industrial.Many economists and policy makers insist that,in accordance with the standard of Kunming-Purcell ciannelli,Chinese has entered the later stage of industrialization,and has the potential to imitate is not much left.Continue to adhere to the imitation innovation,it is impossible to make China to became a world-class industrial innovation power.However,China's regional innovation competition has shown a certain "R&D worship" trend at present,and distorted the government's support for innovation,the strategy of independent innovation and promote the subjective part and has not achieved good results.Therefore,we need to know,in the current international and domestic economic background,what kind of innovation model could ensure the continuous improvement of the competitiveness of China's export product?Do the strategy of "building an innovative country" has been supported by the experience of China's industrial development in the past 10 years?Based on the assumption that'the industrial innovation modes was born in different stages of the characteristics of industrial development',and with the use of the Chinese manufacturing industry panel data in 2001-2013 and the industrial development characteristics framework used to differentiate industrial innovation modes,we empirically analysed the impact of different technological innovation modes on the export trade of China's manufacturing industry.The result shows that,imitative innovation and self-independent innovation can promote the export significantly,with the position of technology was forwarded which brings the enhance of technology complexity and imitation cost,independent innovation has a more significantly effect on the export of manufacturing industry than imitative innovation does.Imitative innovation can promote the export of heavy industry,but the impact on the export of light industry are not significant,and independent innovation plays a significant role in promoting heavy and light industry exports.This study shows that in the new stage of China's manufacturing industry development,the transition from imitative innovation to independent innovation mode need to be speed up,and we should pay attention to the accumulation of capital and technology and the optimization of competition environment of enterprises and the industrial ownership structure.
