| Our country is on the period of reform and open. In addition to clears off the ideological system we already have, the urgent task is to absorb and learn from worldwide outstanding achievements of civilization. Neo-liberalism is introduce to China under this situation. However, neo-liberalism is being in an evolving since the date of produce. It's still uncertain for how to understand neo-liberalism and what attitude we should take towards neo-liberalism. Then, what is neo-liberalism? How should we regard neo-liberalism? What can learn from neo-liberalism theories, and what must be rejected and discarded? These are the issues which compels to be resolved.The paper, intending to be academic study, reveals the essence of neo-liberalism in the way of literature and comparative analysis, reflects neo-liberalism applying the Marxist stand, viewpoint and method, and proposes the corresponding scientific attitude to neo-liberalism. Point out that we must strictly distinguish between the neo-liberalism of academic theory and the neo-liberalism as a tool of the peaceful evolution of Western countries. We must stand firmly adhere to Marxism's mainstream ideological position in China, adhere to socialism and collectivism, and insist that the government is reasonable at this stage, uphold fairness and justice.
