The Supply-demand Analysis And Trend Research Of Chinese Fishery Development

Chinese fishery economy has been developing rapidly since China implements the policy of reform and opening up over the past 30 years. In quantitative terms, the output of aquatic products is nearly 50 million tons, ranking first in the world, and it can meet the basic needs of Chinese people; in terms of quality, the aquatic species structure and its quality level is continually improving, the famous special and advantage aquatic products are becoming rich, which meet people's needs for nutrition and taste. However, at present, Chinese fishery economy also faces many problems, such as the fishery resources are in recession, marine and freshwater water pollution is serious, and also along with the development of economic globalization, Chinese fishery management will face some international problems, for example the international fishery resources development and cooperation. Therefore, how to make Chinese fishery economy sustain ably develop, achieving balance between the supply and demand of aquatic products and the optimal allocation of fishery resources, and analyzing the fishery development trend so as to continuously improve the people's living standards, all of those have become some important issues to study and solve in Chinese fishery development.Firstly basing on the economics analysis method and according to its own characteristics of Chinese fishery development, this paper analyzes some detailed factors that affects the demand and supply Chinese aquatic products, and uses the fishery economic development data since reform and opening up to analyze aquatic products demand and supply situation and the equilibrium. The results show that Chinese aquatic products have been able to meet people's demand in terms of quantitative, and on the whole it is in equilibrium. But with the improvement of living standards, changing in the structure of consumption, Chinese aquatic products still have a certain gap between the variety, quality and people's consumption requirements. At the same time the paper pointing out great significances of the equilibrium analysis in the fishery resources management and the optimized allocation, making decisions for the fishermen and enterprises, and also the policies for the government. Secondly, it introduces the overview of world's fishery economic development and the development trend of world's fishery management, and also some management experience of a number of advanced countries and regions in fishery economic management so as to guide Chinese fishery economy develop sustain ably according to the China's reality. Finally, the paper analyzes the development trend of the supply of aquatic products in quantitative and qualitative terms, and the changing trend of consumer's demand, that is, consumers need both aquatic products in quantitative terms and a variety and quality improvement of aquatic products to meet the increasing demand for nutrition and taste. The article also indicates the development trend of Chinese fishery management, and proposes some policy advice, such as establishing the concept of the ecological and sustainable development, changing the mode of fishery economic growth, building a scientific and rational fishery management system, accelerating the fishery industry structure adjustment by the fishery research and innovation, actively strengthening international cooperation in fishery management, vigorously developing seafood processing industry and promoting international trade, thus the paper could play a guiding role in Chinese fishery management.
