Study On Operation Outsourcing Strategy Of Chinese Mobile Phone Manufacturing Industry

The wave of globalization has engulfed every market in the world since 1980's.It is more and more difficult for an enterprise to win the competence in the market only with its own resource. Outsourcing offers the new way of optimizing an enterprise's internal resource using and developing the core competence. Meanwhile, outsourcing brings about underlying risk in the long-time economic development of a country or district. How to appraise effects of outsourcing on our companies, including its profits and risk?These questions are one of research interests of this paper. We make a study on outsourcing, especially on manufacturing outsourcing, and point out that the strategy of manufacturing outsourcing can help the enterprise put all its resources into the development of core competence. With outsourcing, the enterprise can predigest the organization, increase the flexibility of the organization and gain the scale economics. We provide the principle and develop a revised model of strategy making of manufacturing outsourcing. Choosing the mobile phone industry as object of research, we have made profound analysis on national mobile phone companies' history and the present situation on using manufacturing outsourcing. On the basis of above discussion, we have analyzed national enterprises' strategy of manufacturing outsourcing.In a word, we have made some progresses in innovation to some extent based on existed researches, such as differentiation manufacture outsourcing, purchasing and making, revising outsourcing decision dynamic model etc. Meanwhile, there are some undone things. For example, we are failure to make a dynamic decision making model quantitatively etc. With the increasing development of related theories, self-learning and research methods, some breakthrough will be achieved.
