Study On Relationship Between Ratio Of Dependence On Foreign Trade And China's Economic Development

Along with the recent development of China's foreign trade, there should be some researches between the foreign trade and the economic development. As one of the important indexes, the ratio of dependence on foreign trade weighing the changes of the foreign trade is attracting the researchers. The researches mainly involve: the connection between foreign trade and economic development; the definition of the ratio of dependence on foreign trade and the new method of commutating it; the analysis of moderation of China's ratio of dependence on foreign trade; the transverse compare between the China's ratio of dependence on foreign trade and the other countries' and so on. These theories are valuable for the understanding of the ratio how to weigh the connection between the economy and the foreign trade, however, there are also some lacks, especially in the research of China's ratio of dependence on foreign trade. Since China became one member of WTO, the China's ratio of dependence on foreign trade became higher year after year. The Chinese researchers have studied a lot on ratio of dependence on foreign trade. Except one theory in which the researchers believe that the ratio of dependence on foreign trade is moderate, the other researches basically base on the viewpoint of the excess ratio. And most of the theories are related to the recent China's ratio of dependence on foreign trade. At the same time, most of the transverse compares with the foreign countries are based upon the difference countries' ratios at the same time which ignores the fact that there are the different economic development stages among the different countries. This will make the researches quote out of context and the researches become less scientific and precise. In this text, the writer researches about the relationship between the ratio of dependence on foreign trade and China's economic development stage, which will testify the ratio of dependence on foreign trade is moderate to China's economic development stages.This text is divided into five parts. The first part is the description and synthesizes analysis with the economic theories related to the ratio of dependence on foreign trade and the economic development before.In the second part, the writer adjusts the definition of the ratio of dependence on foreign trade, by which, figures out the actual ratios of dependence on foreign trade from 1978 to 2007.In the third part, according to the relationship with the ratio of dependence on foreign trade, several factors are selected.The forth part is a solid analyses research and takes the China's actuality for example. Using the selected factors, the writer analyzes the relationship between the China's actuality of economy development and the actual ratio of dependence on foreign trade, in which the writer uses the econometrics model to analyze the relationship between the China's recent industry framework and the actual ratio of dependence on foreign trade. Then the conclusion that China's actual ratio of dependence on foreign trade is matching to the economy development stage is formed.The last part contains conclusion, expectation and existent problems of this text.
