A series of policies and regulations including the"Administration of Direct Selling Regulations"and the"Prohibition of Pyramid Selling Regulations"which promulgated in 2005, have revitalized the whole direct selling industry into a new stage with law-governed operation. The legislation of direct selling terminates the team-based merit pay and determines the legitimacy of single-level direct selling, which also determines that Amway cannot follows its old path, but have to adjust its sales mode again. The new business system of ACCL ensures the benefits of its authorized agents on the maximum level; and, the new business system meets the relevant regulations promulgated by the government. However, the system also brings out a number of questions that deserve to research, including"Is the adjusted sales mode really corresponds with China's direct selling regulations","Does the new mode keep the sales representatives stable?","Can it sustain the rapid and steadily growth of ACCL".With the use of induction method, case method and SWOT analysis method, the essay analyzes and researches the diversified sales mode presented by ACCL after the legislation of direct selling and generates the following conclusions: Firstly, the essay propounds that the spirit of diversified sales mode is the compound marketing channel; Secondly, the essay points out three characteristics of diversified sales mode, including sales channel transforms to compound channel; Training links to promotion to guarantee the continuity of the talents'growth; a completed new merit pay system to avoid policy risk; Thirdly, to discuss the pros and cons of diversified sales mode from the point of enterprise's view. In addition, the essay brings forward the following suggestions and strategies: to consummate diversified sales mode in practice; to prevent sales representatives from violation behaviors. The essay introduces ACCL to the external with a comprehensive and in-depth cognition, and it also provides a valuable use for reference for the domestic enterprises that wish to open direct selling market.
