Direct selling is a team of marks as a legitimate product distribution pattern has existed for decades. In Chinese after joining the WTO, the direct selling industry began to develop rapidly in China. As an emerging industry, the Chinese government in the promulgation of the "direct management Ordinance" and "the prohibition of marketing regulations, of direct marketing and pyramid schemes were legal position, rules on the direct selling industry norms, but due to the speciality of the distribution pattern, the speed and scale of the development has not controllable, coupled with government regulation lack of experience, resulting in the direct selling industry" hype "," illegal marketing "," forced sale ". Although the Chinese government to guide and supervise the direct made great efforts for years, but the current laws and regulations and government regulation still needs to adjust and improve, to adapt to the healthy development of the direct selling industry.By analyzing the development of direct selling industry in China and the changes of government regulation and the current situation of government supervision, this paper systematically analyzes the problems of direct supervision industry in our country by combining with the advanced experience of foreign government in direct supervision. Mainly in three aspects:First, the relative lag of laws and regulations led to many loopholes; Second, too single regulatory approach led to weak supervision; Third, the regulatory system is not perfect due to the difficulties of various departments. Based on the actual situation, this paper puts forward some suggestions on perfecting the legal system, establishing the direct marketing model of diversified participation and reforming the supervisory system, and providing some suggestions for the healthy development of the direct selling industry.
