The Research On Strategic Environment And Countermeasures For Shipping Of The Shandong Section Of Grand Canal

The Grand Canal is an important waterborne trunk line between south and north in China.The Shandong section of Grand Canal is an indispensable part of Shandong transportation system,and shipping play a decisive role in development of the canalside economy zone.But,channel construction as well as ship type standardization is the core of development and there are much blind activities in canal shipping currently.No fit development strategy to lead shipping.This paper is order to analyze situation and strategic environment of shipping field,and then put forward corresponding countermeasures.At first,this paper investigates development situation of canal shipping and the canalside economy zone.Then it studies strategic environment including strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and treats on SWOT,which provide qualitative basis for the sixth chapter.From the Perspective of quantitative and qualitative,this paper forecasts freight volume of the Shandong section of Grand Canal and evaluates the result.Finally it proposes development countermeasures for canal shipping.With economic development of our country,establishing of sustainable development strategy and implementing of south-to-north water transfer project,canal shipping of the Grand Canal meet its great opportunity.If we can exactly understand the situation,grasp the opportunities,there will be a better way to go.This paper is just working on this purpose,and it will help canal shipping of the Grand Canal to get a greater development.
