Study On Inventory Circle Time Optimizing And Performance Appraisal Of Shipbuilding Supply Chain

The conception of time based competiton(TBC) has been gradually introduced to supply chain management, which is a hot topic nowdays. Meanwhile, inventory control is vital to SCM. Therefore, study on Inventory Circle Time Optimizing of supply chain and its corresponding topic is valuable theoretically. The shipbuilding supply chain will be more efficient if applying the theory. In conclusion, the research on this topic is valuable practically, too.The paper firstly presents fundemantal theory of inventory control under the supply chain, and analyzes the issues about the topic; Secondly, combined with characteristics of shipbuilding company, the author advances the model and methods of how to optimize inventory circle time under the supply chain and the corresponding performance appraisal system. Last but not least, an example is given by the author as an explanation to the issues mentioned above.
