Land is the basic substance sustaining for existence and development of human,and also the important factor of economic activities.Because of too many people and less land in our country,how to rationally utilize the land resource,which relates to the balance and stability of Ecosystem,and to protect the environment,which is important for the human life and the sustainable development,is a hot issue in modern society.Therefore,perfect land utilization planning system is necessary for scientifically administrating the land.This article take xx township in Hefei as an example,take advantage of data of land use status between 2001-2007 and relevant community economy,set up a assessment model of land suitability by analysis on the land utilization,and predicted the land production potentiality and the demand quantity in this region. The results indicated that:1.Combined GIS technology with Analytic Hierarchy Process,wiped off a spot of garden plots in the study area,the suitability of farmland and forest land were assessed.The results were that:more than 80%of farming land was moderate or above,the rest was conditionally unsuitable.Compared with forest land,about 35%of this land was approximately 65%that was in low level or unsuitable.However,construction land was assessed high as a whole,moderate and high level accounted for the proportion about 70%.2.Analysis of data of land use status between 2001-2007,including area variation and conversion trend of every kind of land category.From land use status,in the condition of no change of indiscrete land area,the type of land utilization and the area of every kind of land type were changed.From utilization level of land,the land utilization ratio and cultivation ratio,agricultural land use ratio,farmland multiple cropping ratio,grain crops multiple cropping ratio were decreased,the most obvious deceased index were both farmland multiple cropping ratio and grain crops multiple cropping ratio,falling range highly reached 16.64%and 19.44%;However,construction utilization ratio and water surface utilization ratio were on the rise.3.Set up temperature production potential model and rainfall production potential model by analysis of Miami model,according to which calculated production potential,and held that food security is possible to become a developing bottleneck in this region.4.By setting up farmland linear regression prediction model and construction multiple linear regression prediction model,the results showed that, It was inevitable that more and more farmland was occupied with the highly development of urbanization.So the knotty problem how to harmoniously develop the relationship between protection of farmland and economy had become the government department's most important event.5.Land planning implementation assessment index in this region was 0.63. From the assessment results of these five first grade indexes,that is,plan implementation effects,plan implementation effectiveness,plan implementation means,plan social cognition and plan implementation benefits,it can be derived that the study region was not strictly implemented according to planning scheme, which caused the disjunction of land utilization planning and realistic development,the results is not good.
