To resolve the land problem is crucial to resolve the problems of agriculture, country and farmers. In company with the industrialization of agriculture, the enlargement of agriculture scale, the transfer of the surplus labor in rural, and the proceeding of urbanization, the land contracting right of management becomes an elementary factor of production. We can see that the transfer of rural land has powerfully promoted the rural economy and it is very significant for the modernization of country. But can't be ignored either in the problem of flowing and turning over and existing in one.This essay learns from the current research fruit and on the basis of that definitudes the connotation of the land contracting right of management and its transfer. And then it makes a systemic introduction of the modes of current land transfer. Those are the bases of analyses .This thesis then analyzes the necessary of the land transfer by using some theories. It also studies the transfer mechanism of the land contracting rights of management and positive results. On basis of those theories, this thesis takes a representative village located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River as an example. By analyzing the land transfer in this village, we find out the positive effects and the problems of the land transfer. In order to resolve these problems, we must know the basic transfer principle–according with the law, freewill, compensatory. Then it take proposals to resolve the problems in the land transfer, including the building of modern land property system, the perfection of the land transfer mechanism , the regulation of land transfer procedure, and so on. Finally, it summarizes the whole thesis, and presents the future direction of the researches on the collective land transfer.
