Study On The Synchronization Between The Operating Processes For ES Co., Ltd

Under the severe market competition environment where trade condition changed in high frequency, an Enterprise's survival and development is depending on her operation management ability, response speed and operation cost etc. And from the system theory, we know that all the parts are partial optimized could not lead to the result that the whole is optimized. For example, all the parts of an airplane is optimize, it means all the parts are best, but the airplane maybe is not the best. If we want to get the best status of the system, we must have every parts work well with each other. In other words, when the Synchronization is well between subassembly, we will get better result. So, it's important to calculate the synchronization of the system.Our study refers to and uses knowledge of Operation Management theory, Supply Chain Management theory, Process Management method and TOC theory. We want to find out the issues by analyzing the Synchronization of target enterprise (the ES Company).We choose three main processes as research objects, they are Customer Demand identification process, Manufacturing Control process and Delivery process. Then we define the quantity of Predicted, the quantity of production order, the quantity of plan, the actual production quantity and the quantity of actual delivered as five key indicators. We use the product to quantify the relationship between processes, and then use trend analysis and correlativity analysis to get the character parameters and correlativity parameters of each sub processes. Then we get the parameter of synchronization between processes.Via the data analyze, we deduce the possible issues in the ES Company operating. Then, we validate those deductions by checking with the ES Company performance. For those has been confirmed issues, we do the Cause Investigation and suggest the solutions. By this way, we want to improve the internal operational environment and operational capability.As the condition changed, our suggested solutions have not been adopted. So, we hope we can improve our study by finish the PDCA loop in the future.
