Compensation is the economic and non-economic reward, when staff provided the behavior which the organization needed to achieve the objective for the organization in which they worked. Compensation management is one of the important parts of human resources management of enterprises. A scientific and reasonable compensation system that embodied in the principle of equity, incentive and competition is essential for the fulfillment of strategic objective of the enterprise. Undoubtedly, to establish the all-round and scientific compensation management system that will foster the core competitiveness and advantage is of great significance of the sustainable development of the enterprise.Under the guidance of modern compensation management theory and combining the actual situation of DH company, the thesis, through introducing the broad-banding compensation theory and with complete consideration of the broad-banding compensation system of competency, aimed to reestablish the compensation system and resolve the current problems that hampered the development of enterprise from the point of view of attracting, maintaining and incentive. And finally promote the core competitiveness and the development of enterprise with high satisfactory and loyalty of the staff.In the thesis I firstly expatiated on researching background with the introduction of the frame of compensation management theory and reviewed the researching trend of broad-banding compensation theory and theory of competency. On the basis of the above contents, I determined the researching domain and direction. Then I outlined the actuality of DH Company and analyzed the strategy of DH Company with the method of SWOT, when illuminated the actuality of human resources management and the current competency system. Followed, I analyzed the actuality of compensation management and find out the main problems as well as the reasons. Finally I designed the broad-banding compensation system of DH Company and put forward the relevant countermeasures of implementation security of the compensation system.I have held a discussion on the broad-banding compensation management and the relevant content in this thesis which will exert great referential significance on the design of broad-banding compensation to joint venture.
