Research On The Patent Strategy Of Solar Energy Industry

Energy is the important material guarantee for economic and social development. However, the utilization of the traditional fossil energy is becoming contradiction in the energy supplement for its rareness and high pollution. Therefore, the development of renewable energy, especially solar energy has become a significant strategy for many countries. A series of policies and laws have been made for promoting and regulating the exploitation and usage of solar energy.This thesis first researched on patent strategy and the theories of industry's competitiveness. Secondly through comparative analysis to patent data , such as IPC ,country's, enterprise's, important technology of application for patent of solar energy industry in the world. Then current situation of solar energy and development trend has been investigated. Then the method has been used to combine with case analysis through the leading country in the world solar energy industry --U.S , Germany , Japan ,which are a main research object, compare its solar energy industry's development policies and relevant legislation horizontally , analyzed that makes the influence of patent strategy on enterprises in industrial policy and law, The patent strategy with the successful use of the business case analysis are very useful to our country.Finally, this thesis has suggested how to implement patent strategy in the current situation of the Chinese solar energy industry, it is suggested that using the buying patent strategy and cross-licensing strategy as a method, then using the patent pool as a medium-term objective, the final goals are alliance's strategy and standard strategy.
