| With the increasingly globalization of marketing competition and requirement of customer's diversification and individuation, Virtual Enterprises (VE) gradually become a new form of enterprises for achieving the competitive strength and gaining some market opportunity, and become the hot topic in industrial and academic area. The key of virtual enterprises success is the choice of right partners; therefore, the selection of virtual enterprise's partners is very important to study.Firstly, the paper discusses the background, the concept and the features about the VE and the academic basis of virtual enterprises' foundation. At the same time, the dissertation analyses and summarizes the existing methods of partner selection, and points out their disadvantages. Then a new extensive comprehensive partner selection method is proposed, and the theory used in the method, such as Transaction Costs Theory,Core Competence theory,Principal-Agent theory and "Inter-organizational coordination" theory of governance, are introduced. Secondly, to evaluate partners comprehensively and objectively, a general partner comprehensive evaluation system is defined. Then the dissertation emphasizes the main factors of VE assessment, and sets up a VE evaluation system based on the ability of cooperation and development which combined with some company practice. then mainly introduces the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),Entropy,Grey Relational Analysis(GRA) application on the assessment of virtual enterprise partners based on the previous study. And then introduces the assessment system of AHP,Entropy,GRA application on VE assessment. This way provides strategy and way for the core company to choose VE Partners. Furthermore, it reduces the risk and costs of the core company partners' selection, and consolidates the core position of the core company in the VE. And also boost the harmony development of the VE.Finally, the paper designs and emulates the comprehensive selection model application on the virtual enterprise partners' assessment of one large sales enterprise. With the help of the emulation, the paper illustrates the process of selecting the partners and validates the method's practicability as well. The result shows that the model improves the effect and efficiency of virtual enterprise partners' selection and comprehensive evaluation approach in the comparison with the results of other choosing models. |
