Economy in our country has been developing very fast since reform and opening to the outside world. Meanwhile educations of all aspects in our country also made great achievements. Advancements on education and economy always benefit from each other. Note that education can continuously "produce" labors who can create, propagate, and apply knowledge, it works more effectively than any other industries, therefore progress in education can effectively facilitate the growth of economy, and investments on education can contribute directly to promotions of economy. On the other hand, economic growth provides physical basis for coordinate developments on education. Education to some extents is the activity of training according to the program plan through education investment which is the basic form of labor investment. From this aspect, the investment and management on education can be considered as an input-output process. From the aspect of main parts in bearing the education cost, it consists of society cost and personal cost. In order to grow in the right direction for education, the main thing is to guarantee the long term input in money, obviously this relies on stable and continuous developments in economy. Economy growth can confine and guide educational developments. The level of development in economy defines the size, contents, organizational situation, teaching style, and teaching method in education, it also decides the level of labor and the level of education in training labors. Ultimately, as an activity in training people, education is an important component in social development, its advancement is confined by economic level. And the economic level decides not only the amount in demand, but also the amount in supply of educational investment. This certainly requires the size and growing speed of all kinds of education to harmonize to those in economic constructions.Just like economic developments in our country have great differences in regions, the educational advancements are also unbalanced, and these kinds of regional differences have been increasing. So it is not right to purely study and research on regional education problems without considering the regional differences in economy, and how to precisely analyze these differences has great realistic significance. To my knowledge, there are not much works in the world on researches on influences of economic situations on educational standards in all regions, and they are even fewer in our country compare to the world. As for these researches, there are some deficiencies. First, the quantitative studies are barely found, secondly, people might be able to see some of those researches on the level of province or upper, but the study on the level of county are rarely touched, data in the level of provinces can often conceal the differences among the counties in this province, thirdly, most researches are direct descriptions on differences, they did not perform statistical tests, and we do not know if these "differences " really exist from the statistical point of view. This thesis will study those differences and hope to do some work in replenish and rich the researches on regional differences of educational investment and their influence factors.Several analysis methods in multivariate statistical analysis such as factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis, are adopted in this thesis. With statistical software SPSS, a model on economy development and standards in education advancement is built, it also makes the correlation analysis on those two parts in 17 cities in Shandong province. Multiple data sets which reflect local status of economic development and standards of education advancement of different regions are selected. First it utilizes factor analysis to classify the data in 17 cities in Shandong province, analyze the data reasonably and precisely for different regions. Then it utilizes correlation analysis to explore the relation of those two kinds of classified data. In the end, regression analysis methods are used to set up the linear regression equation based on all factors in economic developments and standards of education advancements, this gives the illustration on quantitative relation of influence of economic developments on standards of education advancements.
