| With the rapid development of China's tourism industry, demonstrated the growing tourism activities with a wide range of personalized features, consumer behavior is becoming rational, and more tourists prefer the short distance destinations. Based on these trends, recreations around metropolis meet the consumption demand by rich tourism products, diverse types of activities, accessibility, and low-cost. It becomes an important part of tourism research and hot issues. Recreation is an integral part of city functions, grasping the spatial structure of the recreational landscape is the precondition of its development and construction. Xi'an, as the head of Western Development, has developed rapidly.Its socio-economic status is becoming increasingly prominent. There is a large number of recreational landscapes around Xi'an city and the type of them is very rich. Selected the recreational landscapes around Xi'an city as a study to discuss the general law of spatial structure of recreational landscapes around metropolis.It was not only of great theoretical significance but also of great practical value to Xi'an tourism development, and provided a scientific basis and reference for the similar cities.This paper elaborated the research background, the significance of research, the summary of correlation research, research ideas and methods. On the basis of them, concepts of leisure, tourism and recreation, recreational landscape, Recreational Belt around Metropolis (ReBAM) were interpreted. It identifed the scope of the study area: Big-Xi'an Metropolis except the urben.Under the guide of tourism marketing, regional economics, landscape ecology, and other theories, it analyzed the location of the study area , recreational resources,the type of recreational landscapes, tourists market situation and toutists behavior characters by using of mathematical methods, statistical and graphics software. Then it discussed the spatial characters of the three essentialfactors of recreational landscape------patch,corridor and matrix.considering the optimization of thethree essential factors and integration of ideas and principles of the regional cooperation, complement, more attraction,it proposed the overall vision of constructing recreational tourist districts around Xi'an city. Finally, it advanced the model and ways of integration of the spatial structure of the recreational landscapes around Xi'an city. Based on above analysis, draws the following conclusions:1. The study area has superior geographic location and convenient transportation. It's in one of the eight major domestic economic zones and plays the leading role in the Western Development. At present, the characteristics of the tourist market are: tourists are including the urban residents and foreign tourists, but the former is the mainstay. The frequency of recreation is not high. The consumption level of recreations is lower in the overall .The tourists prefer natural and vocation landscapes. The study area is suitable for visiting in a longer period, but it is lack of recreational activities in winter. The level of market organizations of recreational activities is lower.2. The study area not only provides rich resources and market, but also a good matrix.It must to optimize the transport corridor. The spatial characteristics of patches are: The average distance of different types of patches are differet, from near to far, followed by the city parks and theme parks, resorts, rural sites, historical sites, cultural- educational-and-sports sites, forest parks, religious temples, industry recreational sites, scenic spots and nature reserves; The same type of patches are concentrated; The numbers of patches are less with the increasing of the distance.3. Put forward the integration model of the spatial structure of the landscapes, and integrate the patches into 15 tourist districts:, Qinling Original Ecosystem District, Middle of Zhongnanshan Mountain, Huxian Rural Sites, Changan Resorts, Lamtian Tangyu Hot Spring Tourist District , Yangling Modern Agriculture Tourist District, Han and Tang Mausoleum Tourist District, Bailuyuan Leisure and Entertainment District, Lintong Royal Spa Resorts, Guanzhong Tourist District, Yanliang Modern Industry Tourist District, West Tourist District, Qin Road Tourist District, Yaozhou Tourist Districts and Yuhua Palace Resorts.Considered the behavior of tourists and the spatial structure of landscapes,the study area has been divided into threre layers: Urban Fringe Layer,Main Recreational Layer and Long-distance Layer. The tourist routes are the base for the integration model. |
