The construction industry is a typical labor-intensive industry, many Chinese construction enterprise does not realize the significance of the labor costs, they still take cheap labor as main advantage even previously now, but the labor costs go up with the development of the economy and the public welfare ensure system's, they will lose their advantage, the strategy base on the cheap labor has been impossible to continue. Construction enterprise should grasp the status quo and development trend of the labor costs under the environment in the new market economy, enhance the labor costs administration and control, bring maximal efficacy into play. On this basis, this article Studies the construction industry labor costs current situation and the effect to construction industry, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to construction industry labor costs management.First of all, this article describe the concept and formation of labor costs, introduce the concept of labor cost management and the current research situation at home and abroad; Secondly, describe the current situation and rising trend of labor costs in detail from the angel of wage level, social security and the proportion of labor costs, then analysis the impaction of rising costs to construction industry; Thirdly, analysis the factors which cause the labor costs go up from the angel of labor market supply and demand,The sustainable development of economic, the protection of the rights and interests of workers and other characteristics of the construction industry; finally, put forward the countermeasures and suggestions specifically for labor costs current situation and the effect of rising labor costs bring to construction industry.This article based on qualitative and quantitative analysis, use the theoretical analysis as a solid basis, to meet the needs of the construction enterprises.
