With the rapid development of Internet and E-business, the operation mode and their competitive environment of the enterprises have been changed. The competition between the enterprises has turned into the overall strategy competition of their supply chain. In order to survive and develop from the keen competition, they have to make the improvement or optimization for the existing supply chain to promote the core competitiveness. Thus, a new management mode called e-supply chain emerges which adapts to the supply chain requirements of the enterprises under the globalization electronic commerce circumstances and provides an effective method to optimize the supply chain management. It is vital for the modern enterprises that how to construct the appropriate e-supply chain management platform according to their actual status. Additionally, it also has obvious significance for enhancing and expanding their core competitiveness how to take the advantages of transactional and the strategic service for supply chain of the third e-business platform.Firstly, based on the analysis of domestic and abroad theoretical research and practical applications of e-supply chain management, an architecture of e-supply chain Served by Third-party platform is built, and corresponding constituent elements'characteristics are described. Its operation mode are developed from three aspects, including the flow mode of information flow, cash flow and material flow, the use mode of supply chain management and electronic marketplaces transaction mode. Then, an e-supply chain for Chongqing New Century Store illustrates the applications of the mode of ESC.Secondly, the relationship of the supply chain partners becomes more complicated in the electronic marketplaces, which affects the operation efficiency of e- supply chain. Thus, it is necessary to coordinate the behaviors of supply chain partners. A single period news boy model is considered to analyze the problem of e-supply chain coordination that is composed of a supplier, buyer and the third party intermediary. A return contract is designed to coordinate the behaviors of partners and improve the performance of total supply chain. Based on the analysis of respective optimal order quantities, profits and total profits under the centralized and decentralized supply chain in traditional marketplaces and electronic marketplaces, the wholesale price contracts of two marketplaces are compared and the conditions of electronic marketplaces prior to traditional marketplaces are inferred. What's more, the conditions of return contract which improves respective performances of partners as well as the total supply chain are concluded. Finally, research on the healthily developing strategies for e-supply chain served by third-party platform. Based on the description of the current status of e-supply chain implementation, the primary factors that influence the development of e-supply chain are analyzed. Then, some corresponding countermeasures are put forward, such as constructing the relationship of supply chain strategy partners, developing the on-line transaction functions and mechanisms, value-added services served by third-party platform, extending the specialized services, designing rational stimulative contracts to improve supply chain performance and so forth.
