Study On Business Process Reengineering In Xi'an Banknote Printing Plant

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) theory is one of the forefront business management theories today, and it is an effective tool for enterprises to examine and improve the status quo, to improve efficiency and competitiveness. As it born the theory was widely attention and recognition by the business community and academia, and the theoretical circled it as an important strategic to gain competitive advantage, and the third revolution of the management theories.A business is always in a changing environment, the traditional organization mode and management concept has become worse and worse adapting the current development of environmental requirements, and transformation of innovation becomes indispensable to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and adapt to the requirements of the development. Based on the introduction of the theory of BPR, first, This paper discussed the important use of the BRP in the process about persistent survival and development of Xi'an banknote printing plant, and enhanced the necessary for enterprise to carry out BRP ,based on analyzing the development process and the current conditions of Xi'an banknote printing plant. Next, this paper detailedly analyzed the key factors which affect the efficiency of business process in three different levels( the enterprise, the professional and the individual), and purposefully designed the particular scheme ,which need to the requirements of high degree of secrecy and strict management in the printing industry and the requirements of the enterprises' stratagem and culture, and this scheme can also help the enterprises to solve practical problems. At the same time, This paper proposed some detailed method, such as ,using the case analysis training and the survey of collecting advices, selecting key business processes to improve, making use of the informationization, and so on. Finally, based on analyzed the effect of the scheme, this paper further pointed out that enterprises need to establish long-term mechanism, and use process management, then the enterprises can achieve the effect of savings in order to promote enterprise development resources to break through the ceiling growth and achieve sustainable development.Based on the exploration and research of Xi'an banknote printing plant's BPR, the paper provide a scientific and operable operational steps for the printing industry .
