The development of Chinese economy promotes automotive industry into a period of fast development which is notably characterized by great market demand, varied novel types of automobile, fiercer price war and intensified international competition. It affords an opportunity to the trade of automotive parts with the output of whole-car production and total number of automobiles increasing, a large amount of parts being needed by foreign market, and so on. However, because the rate of automotive parts production are asked to reduce by the automobile engine factories every year and the price of raw and processed materials is still rising quickly, if the parts factories still want to have income, the feasible way to solve this problem is to enhance the managing level to control the cost in the enterprise and reduce the cost continuously.Lean Production is the most influencing managing mode currently which is considered one of the best administrant system. It is also an important method for less cost and waste, more comparative advantage and space for development. Many facts have proved that it made a great impact in the aspect of "reducing production efficiency".This article takes one of the automotive parts factories which calls NBNAFA company in the eastern coast of China as the background. The backdrop of the trade of automotive parts and the theory of Lean Production are analyzed by the text. It mainly researches on the application of Lean Production and the reducing cost activities in NBNAFA company in the more critical and competitive environment currently. The research process and results of this article are as follows: 1. Firstly, by using the theories and analysis tools about Lean Production. Industry Engineering. Produce and Operate Management and so on. it comes to the solution about reconstructing the JiangHuai and S styles steering knuckle product lines on Lean Production in manufactured workshop, and it is validated compatibly through Quest Simulation. It also gives the improvement suggestion on production scene, such as "bottleneck" constrains of the process, multi-skilled training, etc. Through adjusting the layout of product line and reforming the production-line with the guide rail, the effect is obvious that it can reduce goods in process,enhance the productive pace,increase the output,debase labor intensity of the worker and so on.2. Secondly, basing on the manufacturing status and the Quality Management, the modified scheme is brought forward on Quality Assurance. Success of Statistical Process Control application case proves that the result of modified scheme is effectual.3. Thirdly, via the theory of Equipment Maintenance and the research on manufacturing status, the improved project is submitted, and the cutting tools using management is used successfully in fact which can be said that the project is applied. The article affords an idea to research the application of Lean Production in the internal enterprises of the automotive parts while it discusses to resolve the problem about Lean Production in the NBNAFA Company.
