From "XiGang" To "XinSheng": A Case About The Historical Changes Of A Fishing Village In The RuiHong Town

This dissertation regards a big fishing village of RuiHong Town in YuGan County around PoYang Lake——XiGang as researching case, Emphasizing on the big fisherman clan,Zhang's of XiGang,who always living in difficult circumstances, how to make the different choice and rectifications for their profit in the local society. They usually must rope in the groups which are more powerful in the local society to change their circumstances in the traditional society; when these kinds of positive result were suppressed by the national power, their extremely strong adaptability or the"elasticity"often can help them go through years of suffering and privation, then rise up suddenly when next chance come. So the"XinSheng"here has two means: the name of XiGang has been changed to"XinSheng"; after the 1980's, XiGang become active again. This thesis tries to analyze how the renewal happened, and whether it can be persistent?——It is very good for study how the local society to"remember the history"and permanently encourage the living confidence.From the case of XiGang, we can grasp the fishing development, the fishermen's living status and the mutual action between the big fisher families and the national power. In the other size, it's more helpful to understand the changes on society and culture through a big family which is very typical.
