Application Study On Mobile R&D Project Management Of Q Company

Combined with the situation and the characteristics of R&D project management in the author's company, and on the basis of analyzing the current actual situation of Q company's mobile phone R&D project management, and finally combined with the features of R&D project management and the modern project management, the thesis proposes that modern management theory and methods can be applied to the cell phone R&D project management to resolve the current mobile phone problems in R&D management. According to the theory of the project lifecycle, cell phone R & D project management can be divided into three parts: project establishment management, process management and acceptance management. Using the ideas and methods of the project management, the thesis elaborates how to manage R&D projects in the Q company, and proposes an effective method of mobile phones R&D project management improvement PIM (In House-Project Implementation Manual).The thesis addresses all R&D phases of the project management based on the characteristics of R&D projects through stressing process management approach and controlling management in the implementation of the R&D projects to ensure the achievement of the project objectives. R& D project management uses limited resources to ensure that the three objectives of R&D projects (quality, cost, cycle time ) can be optimized in maximum and ensure the project success. Focused on the three objectives of R&D projects, the thesis proposes some measures to the specific goals. This paper also proposes the use of Q company's PIM method to evaluate the project implementation and it provides a basis for decision-making for the suspension of the project.At the end of the thesis, in view of the problems existed in manpower management, project framework and the communication in current mobile phone R&D projects, the author uses solutions of the methods of modern project management. Through the application of In House-PIM, Q company has made considerable gains in the project management.
