A Study On The Informatization Construction About Catering Chain-like Enterprises Focused On Logistics Distribution

As a new industry, catering chain-like enterprise has got remarking development in china during 1990s. And as a modern commercial mode and organization pattern, catering chain-like enterprise has vigorous vitality and prosperous feature. Chain running is in need of logistics delivery, and in turn, logistics delivery is the pivotal element for realizing chain scale benefits. At present, the system of logistics delivery for catering chain-like enterprise is undergoing vigorous development. Entering 21 century and with the progress of computer technology, many catering chain-like enterprises begin their informatization construction and conclude lots of experience as well as methods. However, it is still at primary stage for domestic catering chain-like enterprises'informatization construction, which needs much effort to realize in the coming future.Since the informatization construction for domestic catering chain-like enterprises has been executed for not a long time, many of our experiences and methods are followed abroad. However, we cannot copy the advanced experience of foreign countries totally because of the gap on the social environment and infrastructure. What we can do now is to find a solution that has Chinese characteristics and fits the situation of our country, which can only be realized through summarizing the informatization construction experience of foreign catering enterprise as well as considering the idiographic conditions of our country. Therefore, this article, based on the informatization of catering chain-like enterprises and focused on their logistics delivery systems, studies the major problems that catering chain-like enterprises faced currently during the process of informatization construction and explores a set of solution.This article applies case-study, which analyses the programming and implementing methods of catering chain-like enterprises'informatization construction based on the introduction of the informatization process focused on logistics delivery system of TingHsin International Group Convenient Store & Chain Restaurant Business (Dicos) and the characteristics of catering chain-like enterprises.This article includes three parts. The first part is a summarization which introduces the industry and study background as well as the function and structure of the typical software that needed in enterprises'informatization construction. The second part is about programming which introduces Dicos'business forms and brings forward the concept of"JIT (just-in-time) warehouse". Also in this part, a programming that to establish an information system that suitable for catering chain-like enterprises is presented, which is focused on such logistics delivery system that to set up the contact between suppliers and clients (that is join-in shops) by the way of replacing- receipt and replacing-payment. The third part is about implementing which considers the implementing as a scientific and precise process. It's also proved that scientific means, religious attitude and enthusiasm are crucial for the success of implementing through the case of Dicos in this part.This article not only sums up a set of implementing method that fits for catering chain-like enterprises'informatization construction, but also offers proposals for their development in the future. Anyhow, this study will supply reference for other catering chain-like enterprises to carry out their informatization construction successfully.
