A Study On The Develop Model Of Bancassurance In China

Along with financial integration penetrating deeply, the global bancassurance develops rapidly. After many years of explorations and development, the bancassurance spreads world wild. And it becomes not only the main sales way of the European insurance business. Bancassurance developed quickly since 90's twenty century in China, but still in the stage of Agreement Cooperation and Strategic Alliance. How to accelerate the bancassurance development and realize the triple-win of Bank, Insurer and insured is a big problem in time. Even more, Government interference and improper administration delayed the development of bancassurance .the blank in practice original from shortage of theory research.On the basis of above-mentioned background, the paper proposes the cooperative mode that Chinese Bancassurance should adopt. In China , Bancassurance is a new question for discussion. On the base of economic analysis and reviewing the environment of bancassurance, it brings forward the cooperative mode of bancassurance in China-Financial Holding Company. The parent company of financial holding company has integrative management capacity and powerful competition strength. In the same time, subsidiary companies like banks and assurance companies are independent, so risks in the different department can be well controlled. Finally, this paper also puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to the validity of this mode.The main innovations of this paper is to drop the traditional study angle that only take bank or insurance in research, but to extend the research angle to finance efficiency, a more macro vision. In this paper, the author invents the transaction cost theory into bancassurance, which found a more solidity base for bancassurance and extend the extension of transaction cost theory. The results of this paper have great value in practice.
